Free help and advice from the charity Shelter

Posted on January 9, 2014January 9, 2014 by staff

152---shelterOne in twelve people in the East Midlands fear they won’t be able to afford to pay the rent or mortgage at the end of this month.

Yet many people in this situation would feel too ashamed to ask for help.

This January, the charity ‘Shelter’ is encouraging those at risk to seek advice and avoid problems spiraling out of control.

Shelter speaks daily to people in desperation and on the brink of losing their home, because bills and notices have been left unopened and problems have piled up.

For more information please visit www.shelter.org.uk/advice or call the free telephone helpline number 0808 800 4444.
