The Leicestershire Waste Partnership is composed of the seven borough and district councils of Leicestershire, and the County Council. (Leicester City Council is an associate member as it has made its own arrangements for future waste management). The partner authorities have come together to deliver a joint strategy.

Leicestershire is pursuing a clear vision for sustainable waste management and resource use.

Through the collaborative efforts of the Partnership, a majority of Leicestershire’s waste will be recycled by 2017, growth in waste production will be in decline and local communities will be taking responsibility for the waste they produce.

Note: These sessions are open to Leicestershire residents only. Unfortunately this excludes Leicester City residents.
