Free business start up support for budding entrepreneurs

Grove Park Tower SculptureHelp is at hand for budding entrepreneurs looking to set up their own business thanks to a free scheme sponsored by Blaby District Council and Skills for Enterprise.

The Start Up Now programme includes four workshops taking place at the council offices in Narborough starting on Monday June 2 and each running from 10am until 3pm.

The workshops offer practical help on self employment topics such as how to build a business plan, understanding finance and cash planning, marketing and how to find customers.

Additionally one to one support from a business adviser will be available to help get enterprises off to a flying start.

Carole Troake, principal economic development officer at Blaby District Council said:

“The Council recognises that setting up a business can be a very exciting yet challenging time and expert advice can really get you started on the right track towards success.”
