Enderby Youth Band Salford success

Well done to the Youth Band today competing at the National Youth Championships in Salford on Sunday 2nd April!

They came away with a Bronze Award as well as the Brian Hicks Award for MD Trevor Hounsome in recognition of his dedication to youth banding!

A post on the band’s facebook page describes it as “an amazing day for all concerned!!”

Enderby Youth Band is a special organisation.

Many local Brass Bands have beginner groups – but very few Bands in the country are able to offer the opportunity for these youngsters to go on and play to a high standard with a Youth Brass Band of national standard.

New members are always welcome and guaranteed a high standard of tuition, along with plenty of fulfillment and fun.

Complete beginners and recent starters can join the Junior Band, while more experienced players (Grade 2-3 upwards can go straight into the Youth Band).

Rehearsals are on Sunday 5:30-8:30pm at the Enderby Village Institute.
