Blaby District Council have purchased a Mobile Skatepark which will be available to use by young people at Enderby Leisure Centre on Friday evenings.

Professional Keelan Philips will guest at opening night

Professional BMX Rider Keelan Philips will guest on launch night

The mobile skatepark has been named ‘Wheels Project’.

The name for the Skatepark was chosen by young people in a competition earlier this year. (see: EYE news item March 14th 2013)

The project will also be providing sessions for young people across the district in the summer months and it will be available to hire by other partners from June.

Launch night Fri 31st May

The ‘Wheels Project’ will be launched on Friday 31st May at Enderby Leisure Centre (7.30-8.30 – 8-13 years, 8.45-9.45 – 14+ years; £2 a session).

Launch night will include a demonstration from Professional Freestyle BMX Rider, Keelan Philips (pictured right).
