In a message on social media, the Centre’s management, Sports and Leisure Management (SLM Ltd.), say they will endeavour to keep people updated on the matter via their website and social media pages and apologise for any inconvenience caused.
SLM say ‘Everyone Active’ (their brand name) members and casual swimmers are welcome to use pools at the nearby Pingles Leisure Centre, Bedworth Leisure Centre, Waterfield Leisure Centre and Daventry Leisure Centre during this time.
It is thought the closure arises from loose tiles on the pool floor.

The closure sparked conjecture as one correspondent on facebook posted that they had just received an email from the Sharks swimming club to say the pool is expected to be closed for 2 months. A spokesperson for Everyone Active told Enderby EYE on Wednesday morning that in fact the information from the swimming club was factually incorrect as there was not “a definitive time confirmed for [the pool] reopening”. However, the spokesperson stated it was unlikely to be two months.
The closure also raised the question of membership fees and the Centre’s management responded via their facebook page thanking members in advance for their patience and that they were currently “working through the process of compensation” adding that they will contact all members to inform them of what resolution they put in place.
Customers may contact the Enderby centre on 0116 275 0234 for information.
