Enderby’s two teams assembled at 10am on Saturday morning (27th February) outside Enderby Leisure Centre with family, friends and supporters to travel to the tournament venue, Cardinal Griffin Catholic College in Cannock, Staffordshire.

The Enderby Predators (u16yr team) and Enderby Panthers (u11yrs team) showed excellent form against some formidable opposition, including teams from Walsall Warriors, MDL Academy and All Stars teams and the Stockport Stars.

The Panthers (u11) finished the final game losing 6-4 to Stockport Stars  but the Predators (u16) notched up wins of 6-4 against the MDL Dodgeball Academy and 7-3 against the MDL All Stars.

Enderby Junior Dodgeball takes place on Sundays at Enderby Leisure Centre.

The first hour is for 5-10 year olds and the second hour is for 11-14 year olds.

The Enderby club is run by two Level Two UKDBA (United Kingdom Dodgeball Association – see below) Dodgeball Coaches who are also DBS (CRB) qualified.

Times of the club sessions are:
9:30am – 10:30am (5-10 year olds)
10:30am – 11:30am (11-14 year olds)

Why not come down and give it a try!!!

Dodgeball is officially recognised as a sport in the UK by Sport England.

The National Governing Body for Dodgeball in the UK is the United Kingdom Dodgeball Association (UKDBA).

In UK Dodgeball Rules the main objective is to eliminate the opposing team by hitting them with thrown balls or catching a ball thrown by the opposing team.

In the UK Version there are only 3 balls in a game and each team has 6 players.  Dodgeball is a great sport to keep fit, meet new friends, and is a sport that involves both team and individual work.
