Enderby Junior Dodgeballers found themselves acting as a clue in a broadcast treasure hunt!
Whilst the junior players themselves were only aware that their scheduled Sunday morning session would be graced with the presence of a “mystery guest”, plans were afoot to make the Junior Dodgeball Club one of a series of clues in the treasure trail feature on BBC Radio Leicester’s programme “Clueless”.
The clue-based treasure hunt programme on the local radio station puts listeners in the driving seat, challenging their local knowledge.
Clue number three on the programme, broadcast Sunday 3rd April 2016, required the treasure hunt co-presenter and radio car chaser Ady Dayman to attend at the secret location using cryptic clues deciphered by the programme’s listeners.
Clueless has its own dedicated page on Facebook, where you can join in with the debate over the clues every Sunday morning and post your suggestions for what the answers are and where the radio car should be heading next.
Although the presenters have no access to the internet so can’t read your suggestions, you can share your passion with fellow fans of the show, and catch up with all the latest news about the programme.
Enderby Junior Dodgeball ‘s appearance is recorded here [Enderby EYE Audio] where we can hear co-presenters Karl Cooper in the studio and Ady Dayman in the radio car.
‘Chaser’ Ady interviewed Enderby Junior Dodgeball coach Liam Osheehan, although the audio quality was questionable!
Details are that Enderby Junior Dodgeball Club meets at Enderby Leisure Centre every Sunday morning, 9:30am – 10:30am (5-10 year olds) 10:30am – 11:30am (11-14 year olds). All are welcome.
