The Next Meeting of the Enderby Heritage Group will be held on Monday 16th May when the topic will be “The Enderby Village Tree. Are you connected?”
Elizabeth York will give a talk – and baptism, marriage and death records from the Parish and United Reformed Churches will be available.
Set up in 1999 the Enderby Heritage Group consists of mostly local people with an interest in Enderby.
However, the group welcome any interest from anywhere around the world.
The group has recently re-launched its website at www.enderbyheritage.org.uk, giving easier access to information and photographs. Interested persons may use the website to download and search through the census details from 1841 to 1911.
There are no fees or forms – just contact the group by letter or e-mail. (Those attending meetings are asked to contribute a notional £2 per person, helping towards covering costs.)
Group meetings are held at 7.30pm in the Civic Centre on King Street (adjoined to the Library). Everyone is welcome to come along.
