Enderby Heritage Group kick off their 2017 meeting programme tonight (Monday 15 May 2017) with a talk by Dave Ricketts entitled “Some Enderby Second World War Soldiers and Airmen”.
As usual the venue is Enderby Civic Centre and the event begins at 7,30pm.
The Enderby Heritage Group was set up in 1999 and consists of mostly local people with an interest in Enderby but welcome any interest from around the world.
There is no fee or forms – just contact the Group by letter or e-mail.
Group meetings are usually at 7.30pm in the Civic Centre (entrance off King Street) and all are welcome. (Those attending meetings are asked to contribute £2 each to cover costs).
Meeting dates for the remainder of the 2017 programme are:
- Monday 3rd July: Visit to Wigston Frame Work Knitters Museum.
- Monday 18th September, Enderby School photos.
- Monday 20th November, Enderby Quarries by Nigel Moreton.
