The golf course at Enderby Leisure and Golf Centre is set to reopen on Monday 29 March 2021, in line with the next step of the Government’s Roadmap.
Everyone Active – the sports and leisure operator which manages the course on behalf of Blaby District Council – will be implementing strict procedures to ensure social distancing on and around the course, along with removing certain equipment to avoid the touching of surfaces. Full details of these measures can be found here
Members and customers will be able to book from 10pm Thursday 25 March 2021, either online or via the Everyone Active app.
Luke Parratt, Everyone Active’s General Manager, said: “We’re looking forward to re-opening the course on 29 March, and delighted to welcome back our loyal members.
“We’ve been overwhelmed by the support we have received from customers and colleagues over the last 13 months, and we’re grateful to be in a position to reopen our course.
“We continue to work hard to ensure our site is a Covid-safe environment and have carefully considered the strict measurements in accordance with the government guidance.
“As part of the reopening phase, it is incredibly important that we all remain vigilant and considerate of our fellow players.”
John Richardson, Strategic Director at Blaby District Council, said: “Everyone Active have worked hard to ensure their covid-safe measures are in place, and we’re pleased to see that players will be able to return to the golf course safely from 29 March.
“The golf course at Enderby Leisure Centre is a great opportunity to be out in the fresh air and be physically active, it is also a perfect course to play, whether you’re a beginner or more advanced player.”
