Enderby estate agent launches ‘Shoebox Appeal’ for Rainbows

ShoeBoxAppealHarrison Murray Estate Agents of King Street, Enderby, are taking part in a ‘shoebox collection’ for the Rainbows Children’s Charity.

Branch Manager Teana Hampson says the staff at the Enderby office are looking to collect a number of ‘shoe boxes’  by 10th December.

Teana says the sort of things Rainbows have asked for are:

  • Toiletries – toothpaste, shower gel, flannel, deodrant
  • Socks (size children to adult) etc…
  • Food – non perishable with a long shelf life,
    biscuits, crisps, tins, pies etc..

How to pack a shoe box

Get an empty medium sized shoebox, wrapping the lid and box separately in colourful wrapping paper.

htpab_step_1Attach a label indicating if your shoebox contains gifts appropriate for a boy, girl or adult.

Select an age range appropriate to your gifts and write that on the label.

Attach the label to the top of the shoebox.

Anyone wishing to create and donate a shoebox for the appeal may drop it into the Enderby Branch office on King Street during opening hours:
Monday 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Tuesday 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Wednesday 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Thursday 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Friday 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
