Rebecca Bromley, one of the artists responsible for the Village mural, has completed a series of paintings which capture the experiences of Enderby during Coronavirus.
These pictures will be on display, and available to buy on Saturday, 3rd July 2021, at the Enderby Civic Centre. The exhibition is free and refreshments will be sold in the Enderby Community Library. It will be subject to whatever Covid rules are in place at the time.
To compliment this art, there will also be an open exhibition, for any artist in the community who have used their time during the pandemic to create art. This can be in the form of paintings, ceramics, glass, or any other medium which inspired them.
This exhibition provides a moment to reflect upon the stresses and strains of the past year, but also celebrates the role of the community in supporting each other during this difficult time.
The exhibition would not be possible without the work of the artist, but also the Life Church and Parish Church who have supported Rebecca, and enabled her to complete her work.
If you wish to display your own work, please submit this to the Parish office by Thursday, 1st July 2021. All artwork will be returned after the exhibition.
The Enderby Civic Centre will also be open on Sunday, 4th July 2021, to allow further viewings and reflection upon these works.
