Enderby Bowls Club celebrates 75yrs of bowling

2012 is the year of the London Olympics, the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and to top it all – the 75th Anniversary of Enderby Bowls Club!

The Enderby Bowling Club opens its green on April 7th to start its 75th season. Members look forward to this time of year with the passing of winter and the prospect of warmer days and meeting up with fellow bowlers from around the County to participate in their favourite sport.

The club has an extensive list of special events in its diary to celebrate the 75th anniversary, including a visit from Bowls England, a Jubilee Gala, Mens and Ladies Triples Galas together with other special fixtures.

The club welcomes new members and extends an invitation to join them on  their special open days when anyone can try out the game. Free coaching is on offer on Sunday May 6th from 10.00am to 4.00pm and also on Monday 7th May from 10.00am until 12.30pm. Equipment is provided and coaches introduce basics of the game. Those participating should wear flat-soled footwear.
