Eggstra special Easter market in Blaby

Families visiting Blaby Farmers’ Market on Saturday April 23 can choose from a selection of tasty fresh food for Easter while their children search for clues in a special treasure hunt.

Carole Troake, economic development officer at Blaby District Council said:

“The market always attracts lots of visitors to the town centre so I hope we can create a special spring atmosphere for people to enjoy their Easter shopping.”

A selection of fresh meat, fish, pies, bread, pastries, cakes, cheese, preserves and chutneys will be on sale at the market. Refreshments will also be available inside the Blaby Social Centre along with a table top sale.

Leicestershire Food Links work in partnership with the district council to organise the markets, which are held on the fourth Saturday of each month in the car park of Blaby Social Centre, Leicester Road, from 9am- 1pm.
