Distinctive golf clubs stolen in Whetstone

Officers are appealing for public help after some distinctive golf clubs were stolen in Whetstone.

The incident took place sometime between 10.30am and 4.30pm on Saturday January 14 in Cambridge Road, Whetstone, when a bag containing a set of golf clubs were stolen from the outside of a premises.

The bag contained eight Titleist irons, there is a sticker on the shaft of each club just beneath the hand grip with the word Zach on them.

PC Ady Lloyd is investigating the incident, he said:

 “This is the second time that the victim has had his golf clubs stolen and he is very keen to get them back.

“We would urge anyone who knows someone who has recently acquired similar clubs or has been approached by someone selling them to contact us.

“We would also urge anyone who saw any suspicious activity in or around the Cambridge Road area on Saturday January 14 to come forward.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC 1194 Ady Lloyd on 101*, follow the instructions to leave a message for a police officer and when prompted key in the officer’s identification number 1194.
