Criminal damage caused in Huncote

Police are appealing for witnesses after an incident of graffiti in Huncote.

The incident happened sometime between 11pm and 11.15pm on Friday August 26, 2011 when graffiti was painted in black paint over on the front windows, door and brickwork at a business premises on Main Street.

PC Matt Turner, the investigating officer, said:

“Vandalism of any kind will not be tolerated. The people responsible have caused great distress to the business owners.

“We take this type of crime very seriously and people need to be aware that we will be making effort to identify the people involved. We would like to appeal to anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or know who is responsible, to please come forward and speak to us.”
