Local residents can get in the festive spirit with mulled wine, mince pies and a hearty sing-song at Blaby District Council’s annual carol concert.
Council Chairman Jill Blackwell is hosting this year’s service on Wednesday December 12 in the Council Chamber on Desford Road, Narborough.
“Our annual carol concert is always a fantastic occasion and a wonderful way to celebrate the festive season. We hope to see many local faces and of course will be raising money for charity too.”
The service starts at 7.30pm and tickets are available for a minimum donation of £1, which will go towards the Chairman’s chosen charities; The Cinnamon Trust and Leicester Animal Aid.
Mince pies and mulled wine are available for everyone who attends and there will also be a tombola and charity collection at the event.
Tickets are available from the Council Offices or by telephoning Jo Robinson, Democratic Services Officer on 0116 272 7512.
