Council Chairman hosts festive carol concert

Christmas tree decorationsLocal residents can get in the festive spirit with mulled wine, mince pies and join in with carol singing at Blaby District Council’s annual service.

Council Chairman David Clements is hosting this year’s carol concert on Thursday December 18 in the Council Chamber on Desford Road, Narborough.

He said:

“Our annual carol concert is always a fantastic occasion and a wonderful way to celebrate the festive season. We hope to see many local faces and of course will be raising money for charity too.”

The service starts at 7.30pm and tickets are available for a minimum donation of £2, which will go towards the Chairman’s chosen charities; The Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance Service, and LOROS.

The Kirby Muxloe Primary School Choir and the Musical Village Chorale will both be performing, and mince pies and mulled wine are available for everyone who attends.

Tickets are available from the Council Offices or by telephoning the PA Team on 0116 272 7502.
