Car damaged in Enderby

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a car in Enderby was damaged.

The incident happened in Blaby Road overnight, between 10pm on Sunday August 12 and 6.30am the next morning, Monday August 13.

A black Mercedes Benz parked in the street was found to have a large scratch across the passenger side door.

PC Julie Watkins, the investigating officer, said: “The car owner is understandably upset and angry that her car has been damaged and I would urge anyone with information about the incident or the person responsible to call us immediately.

“If you live in the area or were on the nearby Jubilee Park you may have seen something. If you can remember seeing someone acting suspiciously or have any information that may lead us to the person responsible please call police.”

Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact PC 4282 Julie Watkins 101*, follow the instructions to leave a message for a police officer and when prompted key in the officer’s identification number 4282.
