Businesses in Blaby District are invited to a free breakfast meeting next month to share ideas for boosting the local economy.
Blaby District Means Business Breakfast takes place on Wednesday 28 October 2015 at the Leicester Marriott Hotel, Grove Park and is part of the first Leicester Business Festival – a fortnight of events to highlight and promote the city and county to business.
The business breakfast starts at 8:00am with breakfast on arrival followed by a brief presentation, and the chance to access local services and support on offer in the ‘business 2 business exchange.’
A selection of free display spaces are available for local firms and partner organisations to market and promote business services and visitors are welcome to call in up until 11:00am.
Councillor Tony Greenwood, Portfolio holder for Planning, Economic Development and Housing Strategy said:
“The Council runs these events for the benefit of our local businesses so they can learn first-hand what support is available to help them achieve strong growth.
“The Business Festival looks set to put our region on the map and showcase our thriving business community.”
Free display space and breakfast places are limited so businesses are urged to book early by contacting A.K Khan, Planning Policy and Economic Development Officer, at Blaby District Council on 0116 272 7765 or email@example.com.
