Councillor Richardson said:
“I’m delighted to accept this award along with Jon Thorpe on behalf of the council. We work hard to ensure that we place health and safety as a top priority throughout all our services. We are all so pleased to have once again been recognised for the commitment that has been made by our staff.”
The RoSPA Awards, which date back 59 years, recognise commitment to continuous improvement in accident and ill health prevention at work.
