Blaby District Council telephone friendship

Posted on November 27, 2020 by staff

If you or someone you know is feeling lonely, bored or missing friends and family, Blaby District Council can help.

The free telephone friendship befriending service is an opportunity for people to enjoy talking to someone over the phone.

The befrienders are available to make regular, scheduled calls for a friendly conversation.

Befrienders will be there to offer you the opportunity to chat about interests, hobbies or even the weather.

Anyone interested needs to have a landline or mobile phone as well as be able to hear and be understood over the phone.

If you’re interested in referring yourself or someone you know for telephone friendship, call 0116 275 0555 or email vcshub@blaby.gov.uk.
