Blaby Central Community Forum – 7th February

The next meeting of the Blaby Central Community Forum will take place on 7th February at the Enderby Civic Centre, King Street, Enderby, Leicestershire, LE19 4NT.

The meeting part of the Forum will commence at 7.00pm with an Information and Networking session taking place between 6.30pm and 7.00pm, and will cover the following :

• Find out what changes are to be made to your local recycling collection and why?
• Find out how the 2012 Community Forum Budget Projects are progressing
• Looking forward to Community Forum Budgets 2013
• Options for the future of libraries and museums service delivery – what do we know so far?
Agenda Items

• Local residents can have their say about what they feel are community safety issues for the district. Find out more via an interactive presentation, about how much it costs to deal with a burglary, anti social behaviour or domestic abuse and how you can support your community and the vulnerable to make the district a safer place to live, work and visit.
• Find out more about Welfare Reform
• Find out more about Leicestershire’s Flood Risk Strategy:
– What is the strategy to reduce flood risk?
– Who is responsible for what actions?
– What you can do to reduce damage to your property from flooding?
