Two volunteer days have already taken place at BouskellPark, which were supported by community group Conservation Volunteers.

The days involved clearing the stream, litter picking and clearing paths for the enjoyment of all visitors.

James Poynton, Green Space Engagement Officer at Blaby District Council, said:

“BouskellPark is one of the Council’s strategic green spaces and we strive to keep improving it. A range of different people with different skills choose to volunteer and we encourage anyone to get involved.”

If you would like to become a volunteer ranger or want to find out more information email james.poynton@blaby.gov.uk or call 0116 272 7704.
