Bakers Waste Services plan to expand

Bakers WasteEnderby based waste collection and recycling business, Bakers Waste Services, says it plans to expand further following acquisition of Kirby Muxloe business, Berridge Waste Paper.

Bakers Waste specialises in confidential to general waste recycling and undertakes up to 1,400 waste collection jobs every day across the Midlands area.

Berridge is said to have 13 staff turning around £2 million of business a year and the acquisition raises Bakers’ combined staff level to around 100 and will help the Enderby business expand into cardboard and paper recycling.

Bakers has processing facilities in Enderby and Northants and has recently taken delivery of a £140,000 materials handler.

The new enlarged business has 45 vehicles with another six new trucks on order.
