polling stationLocal elections and the first UK-wide referendum in more than 30 years take place on May 5 and Blaby District Council is asking residents to make sure they are registered to cast their vote.

Residents who want to appoint a proxy (someone to vote on their behalf) must apply by Thursday April 21.
