Everards are currently consulting members of the local community on Phase Two of their Everards Meadows development, which builds on the success of the first phase.
The consultation is being held prior to submission of an outline planning application for Phase Two of the development plans and will run until 2nd June 2021.
Turning their attention to what comes next, Everards have published a website “Everards Meadows Phase Two“.
On the website they say “It has always been our intention to create a successful and sustainable destination which offers a range of different attractions and activities. Our plans for the second phase of Everards Meadows will complement and build upon our success so far, and enable more people to benefit from this beautiful location surrounded by nature.”
The first phase saw the development of over 70 acres of green space with pedestrian and cycle paths linking to the Soar Valley and where visitors can hire bikes at Rutland Cycling shop and relax with refreshments at Jenno’s Coffee House.
On the website, Everards announce “In late Spring 2021, our new state-of-the art brewery, beer hall and shop will open to the public. We are very excited to be bringing our brewing operations back to Leicestershire and we look forward to welcoming customers to our new home, overlooking the wonderful meadows.”
Everards say: “Our plans for the second phase of Everards Meadows will complement and build upon our success so far, and enable more people to benefit from this beautiful location surrounded by nature.”
Phase Two involves the creation of a high-quality mixed campus, including up to seven/eight new buildings;
- A hotel and other hospitality facilities

Additionally Everards say the second phase will bring a variety of benefits to Everards Meadows and the wider community, including:
