Creative writing class in Countesthorpe

A series of free creative writing workshops based around museum objects starts at Countesthorpe Methodist Church on February 7.

Local poets Mark Goodwin and Steve Carroll are running the weekly sessions, called ‘Voicing Things’, where people will get the chance to speak and write creatively using museum pieces for inspiration.

The informal workshops, supported by Open Museum, Blaby District

Council and WORD! Leicester will finish with an opportunity to take part in a shared performance at The Y Theatre in Leicester.

Sessions run from 6pm – 8pm.
